We reached Nairobi safely at about 7.40am local time. We had lots of fun and games transferring our luggage from one flight to the other but a very helpful gentleman sorted it all out for us and I've now got time to write this little comment whilst I still have internet access.
Hopefully more to follow this evening if the hotel has a decent (or even barely working) internet connection; reports on this matter are mixed.
